Wedgewood is a small, established neighborhood of homes on large, wooded lots located across from Weddington Middle School off Deal Road. The majority of the homes were built in the late 1980’s and the 1990’s and the styles vary widely from full brick traditional to farmhouse to Victorian. Prices in this subdivision normally range from the mid $200’s to the $300’s for homes around 2500-3500 square feet on average. The neighborhood homes are on individual well and septic systems and are on anywhere from one to three acre lots. There are no mandatory homeowners dues in the subdivision and no community amenities. The neighborhood is attractive to buyers for its quiet streets, shady trees, affordable properties, and close proximity to Weddington schools.
School aged children are currently zoned for all Weddington schools for the 2015-2016 school year.
