Eastwood Homes is currently building new homes close to downtown Waxhaw in Rone Creek. The neighborhood will have a total of 103 homes which vary from one ranch plan called the Sullivan to several different two-story plans with options for first floor guest suites. Homes range from 4-6 bedrooms and 3-5 bathrooms with 2,700 to over 4,700 square feet. Lots are around 1/3 acre in size and there are some basement lots. Rone Creek has sidewalks and walking trails planned for the community but no other amenities. Home prices generally range from the high $500’s to the high $800’s.

Rone Creek homeowners’ dues are currently $50 per month. Neighborhood children are zoned to attend Waxhaw Elementary School, Parkwood Middle School, and Parkwood High School for the 2025-2026 school year.
