The Highlands at Weddington is a newer subdivision located off Antioch Church Road, just north of Weddington Road/84. The neighborhood has approximately 44 homes. Lots range from just under one-half acre up to almost a full acre. There are plans for natural area and community sidewalks. The subdivision is located next to the WCWAA fields.
Taylor Morrison (former Bonterra Builders) built the homes in The Highlands. They offered 5 floor plans ranging from around 3500 square feet to over 4200 square feet. Homes are two and three story plans with 3-car garages and fiber cement siding with options for either a master up or down. Prices started from the mid $500’s with most homes being built out in the high $600’s by 2020. Prices currently are in the $700’s.
Neighborhood children will attend Weddington Elementary, Weddington Middle, and Weddington High Schools for the 2021-2022 school year. Homeowners association dues are currently around $787 per year.
