Bromley started around 2007 as a high-end, custom-home development with large lots and sprawling estates on 160 acres. Custom homes have sold at prices up to $1.8 million. When the market downturn hit, some of these newly constructed mansions were sitting vacant (some for years) with no buyers. In 2012, Toll Brothers purchased 103 Bromley lots as one of their premier communities in Union County. Toll Brothers is well regarded in the luxury home market and was honored as 2012 Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine. This neighborhood is currently sold out of new constructions, but resale homes are available.
Bromley is located on Hemby Road just past the Mecklenburg line in Union county. This neighborhood has a picturesque setting with mature trees, lake, 10 acre park, and gazebo. Homeowners’ dues are currently around $1500 annually.
Neighborhood children are zoned for Antioch Elementary, Weddington Middle, and Weddington High Schools for the 2018-2019 school year.
